Behind the scenes, a complex logistical process takes place in which thousands of suitcases, employees, and systems come together every day. The baggage handling areas are an essential part of this operation.

To keep these areas safe and well-organized, it is important that only authorized personnel have access to specific zones. At the same time, daily operations must always be able to continue. A security solution must therefore not only be robust and durable, but must also remain practical in a dynamic environment such as Schiphol.

For this project, a custom solution using X-Guard mesh partitions from Groven was chosen. The use of a robust mesh structure creates a clear physical separation between secure zones and general work areas. This maintains visibility while ensuring that installations, storage areas, and critical spaces are optimally protected.
